Alternatively, one can fly to the Detroit Metro Airport (DTW), rent a car, and take the 4-hour drive "up north" that many Michiganders do frequently. Driving Directions are below. Meals Meals in the cafeteria are available to anyone on a pay as you go basis. All of the meals are served cafeteria style and are "all you can eat". Previous attendees have preferred the numerous restaurants nearby, some within walking distance and none more than a few minutes drive. Lodging Hotels We have reserved a block of rooms at a hotel immediately adjacent to the college and the lecture building. Cost: $130 plus tax per night. Each room will have two queen beds, iron/ironing board, coffee/tea maker, and hair dryer. Some of the rooms also have microwave and mini frig. The rates are based on doing a limited housekeeping which means cleaning rooms once a week, changing the sheets, etc. If guests need additional towels, or amenities they will be happy to bring them to the room or have them available at the front desk.
